Are you passionate about Search? Do you have experience developing, implementing and managing search strategies? Do you love utilising meaningful content for people to discover, combined with having an analytical mind and the drive and ambition to make a difference? If so then this could be the next role for you.

Working closely with the Account Managers, Web Development team and the end client you will be required to develop and implement methods to improve clients’ websites organic search rankings including keyword research, content strategy and planning, link building strategies and finding opportunities to improve the performance of our clients, cross-sector websites. 

The role:

  • Support Account Managers and Web Development team by developing content strategies and making technical recommendations.
  • Understand and implement brand and competitor website analysis.
  • Conduct keyword research, devise strategies and ongoing management of these strategies which contribute to success. 
  • Understand the power of different types of content, write briefs for content creation; review, approve, implement and repurpose across multiple platforms.
  • Leverage and develop digital PR, backlinking and digital marketing opportunities. 
  • Implement ethical link building techniques.
  • Google My Business management and monitoring. 
  • Understand SEO and technical issues that impact a website and implement possible fixes such as broken links, redirects, metadata, headings, alt tags and internal linking. 
  • Generate monthly reports, yearly analysis and roundup reports, summarise next steps and present ideas, strategy and achievements to Account Managers and clients. 
  • Keep current with industry news, trends and updates.
  • Communicate with Account Managers regarding important algorithm changes. 

The candidate will have:

  • The ability to manage internal and external teams plus suppliers.
  • Experience in an SEO position for an SEO agency for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Knowledge of SEO relevant website coding and best practices.
  • Can demonstrate successful past SEO techniques and achievements.
  • Experience of working with Web Analytics packages; Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, Google My Business and Hot Jar. Majestic and SEM Rush not essential. 
  • Ability to find new content opportunities and improve website performance. 
  • Ability to track links and web page interactions for research and reporting. 
  • Can demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills in written and verbal English along with exceptional organisation and planning skills. 
  • Experience using Google Sheets and/or Excel (sheets and formulas) 
  • Experience in Google Analytics and Search Console a must. 


Experience in PPC is not essential but a willingness to learn it is a must. As an agency, we are passionate about progression and learning and will support you on this journey. This role will require the strategising, development and optimising of every aspect of clients’ pay-per-click campaigns. This includes managing keyword research, bidding strategies, formulating and managing the PPC budgets, analysing results, reporting results and create recommendations.
