The value of a great profile photo |

The value of a great profile photo
Your profile photo is often the first stage of building a rapport with potential clients, associates and employers, especially with so many of us using social media as a tool for networking purposes. Your image should portray you as a confident professional within your area of expertise, therefore it is essential you get it right if you want to make the right first impression.
Avatar Creative have been working with John Cassidy Photography - creating and developing their new brand identity.  John really knows his business, he's photographed thousands of people over the years - many of them well known celebrities and sports stars - David Beckham, Michael Schumacher, Sean Connery, Frankie Dettori and Boris Becker to name a few.
John comments, " Profile images (or hero shots) should be PPE, which stands for Professional, Personable and Engaging and not FFF (Fuzzy, Faraway and Forgetful). "It should capture your personality (not just a generic headshot) and it should draw the viewer in and make them want to find out more about you. It should also look like you - taken within the last 12 to 18 months. People who use old images are just kidding themselves and the people they connect with".
Remember your face is part of your brand!
